I made this over an afternoon in After Effects. I am extremely happy how it turned out.

I have recieved my Chumby One today. It is a high tech, touch screen alarm clock that is always connected to the internet. The highlight of the device is that it runs widgets from a growing library of widgets found on Chumby’s official site. You sign into your Chumby account, and from there you can add and manage the widgets. Then your Chumby connects to the internet and syncs up the widgets you added online. There is a handful of very useful widgets such as a Facebook and Twitter notifier, some simple games, and a load of different styled clocks. The alarm function is very customizable, allowing you to be woken up at different times on certain days to different sounds. You can set it so it plays music off Pandora Radio, or from your own personal music library stored on the internal 2GB flash memory. I look forward to being woken up tomorrow by my new gadget.
Pros and Cons
+Lots of widgets
+Plenty of alarm options
+Great online control panel
-Only available in white
-Pricey for an alarm clock (if you want to view it as just an alarm clock)
-Sometimes a little sluggish
I got my new 1TB hard drive in today. I just got Windows 7 up, and am currently trying to get everything back to normal. I need to get some sort of automatic backup set up so if this happens again it won’t be so traumatizing.
Well, my 500GB Segate drive has kicked the bucket. I have lost everything, except whatever I had backed up. This sucks because I just got Bioshock 2. I am posting this from the same computer with the failed drive. The way I am doing this is I am running Linux Mint off a flash drive. It looks I will be doing everything from either my desktop running Linux, or from my laptop.
I have had the HTC Hero (Sprint) for more than a week now, and here are my impressions:
+Sense UI is much better than stock Android
+Android apps!
+Impressive camera
-Noticeably sluggish
-No physical keyboard
*The update from Android 1.5 to 2.1 should fix many of the software problems, this launches in January 2010.
I have moved from the Monochrome theme to a new theme called Piano Black. It was made from the same people as the Monochrome theme. Let me know what you think of it.
Here is a look at augmented reality, something we will be seeing a lot of in the next 10 years.

I am making this post from Windows Live Writer, which is like Microsoft Word for blogs. Here I will copy and paste an image:
I can resize it and apply a effect such as the drop shadow with one click. Hopefully this will make getting a post up easier, which means more posts. This is a really great piece of software, good job Microsoft.
